Chichester Harbour Photo Competition

This year’s Chichester Harbour Photo Competition is now under way! This annual competiton (now in its third year) celebrates all that this unique Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer and has been generously sponsored by the Friends of Chichester Harbour. This year’s them is: ‘Inspired by Chichester Harbour AONB’ and can be interpreted as widely as you like to include on the land, on the water or even under the water! Spend the summer clicking away then select your three favourites and email them to allie@conservancy.co.uk along with your details and a caption (no more than 25 words) for each photograph.

All photographs entered will be displayed as they arrive on a gallery at www.conservancy.co.uk. Judges Mike Repp (Whitbys) and Louise Adams (Chichester Observer) will choose 3 winners and 15 runner-ups. These 18 photographs will be displayed at an exhibition at Emsworth Museum from 3rd October to 1st November. During this period, voting will be open at the exhibition and online for an additional Public Choice prize. All voters will be entered into a prize draw to win a photograph of their choice printed on a 40x60cm canvas by www.boatart.co.uk.

    I entered last year but sadly didn’t win…ah well! Going to go finally do the Thorney Island coastal walk plus a few other strolls around the harbour this summer, might have some things to enter, hopefully.
