Continuing the fight for improved cycling facilities along the seafront in Southsea, there is now a Facebook event detailing the situation plus calling for people to sign a petition asking for a cycling route between the Hayling Island and the Gosport ferries.
Hopefully this weekend’s D-Day bike ride (and the previous Strong Island ride) will continue to force home to the council how popular cycling is in Portsmouth.
