Portsmouth Film Society‘s second programme of contemporary and cult, independent cinema continues in April, May and June 2010. The programme features powerful stories from around the world, as well as British art house cinema from the 1960s and two matinee sessions with talks by guest speakers. Members of the society have the opportunity to suggest and collaborate on future programming decisions. The programme includes: Milk (Tuesday 13 April, 7pm); Waltz with Bashir (Tuesday 27 April); El baño del Papa (Tuesday 11 May, 7pm); It’s All Over Town (Wednesday 19 May, 2.30pm); Far North (Tuesday 25 May, 7pm); She, a Chinese (Tuesday 8 June, 7pm); Partition (Wednesday 16 June, 2.30pm); and, After the Wedding (Tuesday 22 June, 7pm).
