I wasn’t aware of this until yesterday but the Hayling Island Ferry has been out of action for a little while. The ferry was stopped due to some issues raised during it’s inspection but still isn’t back in action. The ferry is a key link to Portsea from Hayling and you can find out more about the situation here.
I thought it was best to mention this incase anyone was off on a round-Langstone Harbour bike ride or run. This also means no drinking in the Ferryboat Inn for a while too…
