Tomorrow night sees the preview of Emergency 5 at Aspex Gallery, its from 6-8pm and entry is free. I have seen some of the show installation this week and it pretty awesome. From beautiful photographs of underground stations in Belgium to some excellent video work and sculpture.

Eleven artists from the UK and Europe have been chosen for inclusion in the group show this winter. From these short-listed artists a winner will be chosen to receive the prize of a solo exhibition at Aspex in 2012, to be announced at the exhibition preview on Friday 21 October.

The selected artists are: Julian Brown, Kit Craig, Dan Coopey, Blue Curry, Tom Iriks, Amanda Loomes, Scott Mason, Hania Stella-Sawicka, Christine Sullivan & Rob Flint, Duncan Swann, Charlie Tweed.

A personal favourite of mine are these delicate pictures by Duncan Swann, they look so stunning in real life.
