This summer has flown past and the weather hasn’t exactly been the best but our second Strong Island Ale ‘Dry Dock No.1′, created by 2012 Homebrew Competition winner Lee Immins and brewed by Irving & Co. Brewery, quickly sold out after hitting bars and pubs across Portsmouth and in Hampshire and West Sussex. The competition has now run for two years and both winning ales have smashed it with hundreds of barrels being sold and a lot of happy faces. We’re slowly gearing up for the launch of next year’s competition starting this autumn so keep an eye on Strong Island for details on that soon.
