PORTSMOUTH & SOUTHSEA'S No.1 for ARTS, CULTURE & LIFESTYLE

Goodbye Fezziwigs Food

Yesterday we heard the bad news that Fezziwigs food have decided to call it a day. Fezziwigs started last year with the amazing idea of delivering roasts to people’s homes on a Sunday. I was lucky enough to try these out at the start and they were really, really good AND delivered to your hungover sofa on a day when you can’t face leaving the house. From there Fezziwigs grew and grew and expanded their range to some seriously good American and Mexican eats, the sweet potato fries were off the charts in particular. In recent months Fezziwigs moved from Bar 56 (we were really lucky to hold Drunken Sailor there at Southsea Fest just for the food on our doorstep all day) and then on to Drift but sadly, in it’s current form, it has had to close. Word is that the roasts may resturn though, fingers crossed…

Would like to say a huge thank you to the crew at Fezziwigs for some special food and for saving my life on some hungover Sundays. All the best for the future.

Thanks for the love guys! We had a great time cooking for everyone and it’s a real shame we’ve had to call it a day. But who knows what’ll happen in the future. 🙂
