Off The Record are a local charity that for the last 35 years has been offering a free, confidential and friendly support, information and counselling service to young people aged 11 to 25 in both the Havant and Portsmouth areas. Despite offering a vital service and receiving referrals from GPs the charity receives no funding from the NHS and recently had it’s funding cut from Portsmouth City Council which now means Off The Record are in serious risk of closure.
Off The Record are now actively seeking donations through a variety of events and drives (both online and walking the streets of the city) and the volunteers that have helped and donated their time for years are under real pressure to find the funding they need. It is crystal clear that a service like this is absolutely vital for young people in both Portsmouth and Havant and if you would like to make a donation large or small then you can do so by visiting their Just Giving page online.
