Last Call For Submissions For Making Space Postcard Exhibition

Making Space is an art and craft studio centre in Leigh Park which is constantly on the look out for creative new ways to help raise funds for the charity that runs the centre and also provide workshops, studio spaces, etc. Over September and October they have been asking artists (working in any medium) to donate to them a 4″x6″ sized artwork which we can then add to a selling exhibition.

The exhibition will be anonymous and all artworks will be sold at the flat rate of £20. The idea is that you don’t know who you are buying, you buy something because you like it, the artist is then revealed once the purchase has been made. It doesn’t have to be framed, it can just be on paper, card, fabric, clay, metal, collage etc…it could be a photo or a simple sketch, you might want to paint a little something or print something. Making Space will appreciate and will accept any art form as long as the finished size is 4″x6″. You can also enter up to three too!

The deadline is this week so if you want to send something in then simply pop the item in the post with a submission form DOWNLOAD HERE at the address below or drop it in if passing.

Making Space, 2 Bishopstoke Road, Leigh Park, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 5BN.

The exhibition dates are as follows:

Preview event – Saturday 26 October, 2pm – 4pm.
Exhibition open to the public – Monday 28 October, 10am
