Don’t Hate, Donate! Charity Collection For Calais Refugees

A group of locals are collecting donations to be taken to Calais to give to the people that need it the most. The team are looking for tinned foods, water, blankets, clothes, pots, pans, first aid, sanitary products, nappies, shoes, sleeping bags, tents and anything else that you can donate that you think could help.

I know it is very short notice as they are leaving in the early hours of Saturday morning (tomorrow)! I’m sure we can all spare 30 mins or so to go through our homes and get a bag together of items that we can spare to a good cause. They will be taking donations until late this evening so don’t panic if you are working today and cannot get down for a while!

Donations can be taken to SHOP, 65 Castle Road, Southsea or directly to Al’Burrito, 56 Albert Road. For more information check out the Facebook page HERE.

Hello. I saw your advert on TV, and it said that you will accept clothing items. If so, I have very good clothing items to donate. Please let me know where I can donate them – I live in Berkshire, near Reading.

    Kind regards
