PORTSMOUTH & SOUTHSEA'S No.1 for ARTS, CULTURE & LIFESTYLE

Nothing Ventured Vinyl

For Alex Cave, one half of Southsea production duo Kingsin, music has always been a passion. After 8 years in the same job and with redundancy looming it was time to make a change and figure out what was next. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as due to these events Nothing Ventured Vinyl was born; an online vinyl emporium specialising in rare, collectable vinyl across all genres with a key focus being anything Dance music related.

“I love music of all genres and over the past 15 years Ive been an avid vinyl collector myself, after redundancy happened I came across a large record collection for sale which I purchased and began to sell online via discogs, I made my money back and more so went on the hunt for another collection which I found and purchased and here I am. I pride myself on the accurate grading & cleaning of each individual record to ensure the customer is getting the best quality used vinyl and at the most competitive price.”

Alex’s knowledge and easy going attitude means he is always on hand to offer advice and will go the extra mile to find you that rarity you have been searching for. He is currently in the process of cleaning listing and grading a large collection of House/Italo House & Disco from 1988-1993 and is constantly updating the emporium with new stock.

Alex is always on the look out to purchase large quality record collections so please get in touch if you know of anyone looking to sell.

You can contact Alex to arrange a private viewing of the collections at alex@nothingventuredvinyl.co.uk alternatively check the online store www.nothingventuredvinyl.co.uk with stock regularly updated.
