Throughout the month of April, iconic British department store Harrods is showcasing the new Anglepoise® Giant Collection as part of their ‘London Edit’, a round-up of the season’s essential interior trends. When you’re up in the capital this month pay a visit and you’ll see how the ‘The London Edit’ has been brought to life in the store’s famous Brompton Road windows and played out in room sets across the Second and Third Floors.
Homing in on four distinctive trend-led edits entitled the Shoreditch Loft, the Chelsea Townhouse, the Notting Hill Villa and the Hampstead House, The London Edit features beautiful furniture, lighting and homeware from the the most classic to the most contemporary and unveils exclusive launches ranging from British fashion’s Matthew Williamson for Duresta to Anglepoise®. Having styled their Original 1227™ Giant Brass floor lamp in Elephant Grey as part of the ‘Shoreditch Loft’ edit, each model will exclusively retail at Harrods for the duration of the interiors takeover. Lovers of the Anglepoise® design will also have the chance to pick up the Original 1227™ Giant Brass floor lamp in Rich Burgundy, created exclusively for Harrods (you can see both below).
Portsmouth based Anglepoise® have been working on some incredible collaborations and projects in recent years, such as the two Paul Smith collabs, so to see their giants (which are assembled in Farlington) on sale in Harrods is something special.
