Music and Poetry on Board HMS M.33 to Mark 1st Birthday

World War One naval ship & Gallipoli veteran HMS M.33 will be celebrating her first birthday after last year’s huge restoration project and opening to the public at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard with a day of music and poetry onboard ship. On Sunday 31st July from 11am visitors are welcome to share the celebrations and discover local cultural talent too.

The lineup for the day will be:

The Engine Room
11am – 11.30am: The Polite Mechanicals
11.30am – 12pm: Poetry Maggie Sawkins and RST
1pm – 1.30pm: Pompey Pluckers
1.30pm – 2pm: Poetry with Maggie Sawkins

Rear Gun Deck
12.15pm – 12.45pm: Portsmouth Shanty Men

Fo’c’s’le
2.15pm – 2.45pm: Chris Ricketts
