Unknown Territories Photography Exhibition at Al’Burrito

Unknown Territories is a collaboration of works photography exhibition by University of Portsmouth CCi photography students exploring the notion of territories and how these have can be expressed using photography. Each individual series of works shown present territorial exploration in many different ways and mediums. Every photographic project exhibited captures individual interpretations of physical and mental territories.

The exhibition consists of a series of prints and installations which will take each viewer on a photographic journey. The different themes explored throughout aim to highlight a wide variety of perspectives and open views to what the meaning of a territory can encapsulate. The students have fundraised (including a raffle) to create their exhibition and managed marketing, promotion, location, etc.

The exhibition at Al’Burito on Albert Road opens on Thursday 1st December from 5pm and will then run through until Saturday the 3rd December. Entry is free. See the Facebook event HERE for more details.
