This Thursday (6th April) from 4pm to 5pm at the New Theatre Royal you can get involved in an immersive 3 minute 360˚/3D Virtual Reality fashion film that will sit at the intersection between fashion, film, dance, music, performance, technology, tradition and experience.
The film “TRITSCH TRATSCH” will be shot on location at and the production will involve a range of dancers, acrobats, ballet, contortionists, aerial and circus performers in a choreographed performance to showcase the brand new fashion collections from this year’s graduating students on the BA (Hons) Fashion & Textile Design course at the University of Portsmouth.
The students need you to be one of 350 extras to fill the Theatre auditorium and be the stars of the grand finale at the end of the film, come as you are or dress up, but be prepared to make some noise when the glitter cannon and giant balloons are released. The “TRITSCH TRATSCH” film will be shown at showcase events (including Graduate Fashion Week in London and FASHIONCLASH Festival in Maastricht Netherlands) on VR headsets and there will also be an online version made public from June 3rd 2017.
