LIVE SCARE ATTRACTION COMES TO PORTSMOUTH
Sorry to disappoint, but ‘Torment at Gunwharf Quays’ has nothing to do with miserable men that went shopping.
If you’ve visited Gunwharf Quays recently, you might have noticed the not-so-subtle 7,000 square foot marquee going up in the Plaza. It seems we’re entering an exciting new era of live experiences at the designer outlet – the first of which opens in a couple of weeks.
Torment – a live scare attraction – runs from 20th to 29th October and invites the brave to enter a Victorian manor house filled with demons.
The story goes that Lord Earlsford’s wife and daughter died at Packworth Manor and it’s now haunted by evil spirits that stalk the halls in search of prey…
Are you brave enough to face your worst nightmares? Expect live actors, custom built scenery, special effects and frights galore in the biggest attraction of its kind on the south Coast. I’m in.
If that doesn’t float your boat, don’t fear (!) – Gunwharf’s next immersive experience is the much cuddlier Enchanted Narnia; perfect for getting in the mood for the festive season.
