Peninsular Artists Presents ‘Layers’ Exhibition at Sticks Gallery

Opening this evening with a preview is a new exhibition entitled LAYERS, bringing together the work of Gosport’s very own PENINSULAR ARTISTS in their first group show. The group is made up of professional artists who call the peninsula their home, the theme was chosen as it reflects the wide and varied practice undertaken by members of the group. This theme has been interpreted in different ways by the artists,  thus the veritable banquet of styles and media visible in the exhibition, featuring brand new work and selected pieces from back catalogues.

The exhibition will run from today until the 17th February at Sticks Gallery in Gosport and you can then catch it in Portsmouth at Jack House Gallery in April. LAYERS features work by artists: Maggie Cochran, Stephen Buggle, Irene Buggle, David Yearley, Mary Weguelin, Kristy Fleury, Ailsa Brims, Carol Parsons, Linda Davies. You can find out more about the group artists HERE.
