Strike a Chord for Spinal Research

Strike a Chord for Spinal Research is a fundraising band night on the 6th of April all set to boost fundraising for local runner Louise Bolton’s London Marathon challenge this spring. Louise will be raising money for Spinal Research, which is a charity that funds essential research to help those affected by spinal cord injury. In 2013 Louise’s brother had a serious car accident and sustained a spinal injury which has left him paralysed and using a wheelchair. The work that Spinal Research does will contribute to essential understanding of injuries and rehabilitation like his.

The night will be held at The Coastguard Studio in Southsea and will see a lineup of great local bands (all being announced on the Facebook event page) as well as a raffle with fabulous prizes up for grabs. Louise is hoping to raise as much money as possible for the charity and tickets will be a minimum of £3, but please feel free to give more. Any tickets not sold in advance will be available on the door. Louise is hoping to max out the capacity of The Coastguard which is about 160, so please spread the word!
