The Hotwalls Studios Summer Party / July 6th

For The Hotwalls Studio’s 3rd Birthday they are hosting a Summer Party to celebrate the studios as a cultural quarter in the city of Portsmouth.

Prepare yourselves for live music, spoken word poetry from The Front Room, a live paint by Winniemmay artist, homemade lemonades and cocktails from Dolci Fizz, workshops brought to you by Sea Dog Print Studio, Open Studios across all thirteen of our studios and The Barrel Project.

We will be displaying a series of empty beer barrels from local pub The Merchant House and local brewery Staggeringly Good– with a twist. In a bid to re-purpose these object, artists and designers across the city of Portsmouth have pulled together and gotten creative. We will be displaying these creations throughout the event with a raffle to close the night! All money raised will be donated to a chosen charity in the city.

Already joining in we have; Roo Abrook, M1, Sadie Tierney, Floramora of Southsea, Winniemmay artist, icanseethesea.com, Hume Looms, Foursandeights, Jon Tyrrell and more to be announced…This will be an exciting evening to really celebrate the creative cultural scene in Portsmouth.
